Rebuilding the lives. A story of a woman forcefully sent back to the country

Sara Bibi (name changed) is the daughter of Said Rahim. She is forty years old and she is living in Chaparhar Dawlat zay Family. She is a widow.

She is a forced returnee from Pakistan and lost her everything there. Her elder son is 12 years old and not able to earn yet. Since her return, her relative have been helping her sometime but she was struggling to support her family. The project has provided her a package for two months which includes Wheat Flour 100 Kg (2 sack), Rice 49 Kg (2 sacks), Red Beans 14 Kg, Cooking Oil 10 litres, Salt 4 KG. Hygiene package consisting of - Hand Washing soap 8 Cakes, Laundry Soaps 10 Cakes, Toothpaste 4 Tubes, Toothbrush 16 pieces (8 adult & 8 child size), Blankets 2 Single bed blankets per family and Cash of 7000/AFN.

This relief will help them with their immediate need for 2 months. The project hopes that the two months ration will help them to sustain themselves. She is happy with relief package and informed that this will support for a long time. During this time, she can focus on getting them settled and in searching for job as she does not have to worry about food during that period.
